HIMA SASING’S PROGRAM SPEAKING CLUB – “Dramatic Literature” How to Analyze A Drama

HIMA SASING held a Speaking Club for English Literature students and other faculties students on Sunday, June 28th, and Tuesday, June 30th, 2020. This activity is managed directly by Education Division of HIMA SASING as a platform for students who want to develop their abilities in the academic field and express their opinions using English in a discussion or public discussion. This Speaking Club brought up a theme entitled “How to Analyze a Drama?”, where participants were given the understanding of what drama in sense of the theory itself is, then continued with a question and sharing sessions. This event was mentored by Regina Afsela, an English Literature student, who was a representative of the crew of a short movie entitled “The Wall”, the winner of Drama Movie Competition 2019.

This activity is held by using the conference meeting application, Zoom. Speaking Club was attended by 27 English Literature students from various semesters and students from outside universities who were also interested in joining this program (FR)
